Frequently Asked Questions
Is Cannabis Legal?
All cannabinoids (natural compounds found in the cannabis plant such as THC, THC-A, CBD, CBG...) are legal (in our surrounding metro) except for Delta-9 THC, but there is an exception. We can have Delta-9 THC as long has it's less than 0.03% that is the federally-legal limit. When we refer to Cannabis we are referring to the main species of plant, Marijuana is a sub-species of this plant that contains the psychoactive Delta-9 THC the Cannabinoid that makes you feel "High", this is illegal federally (we DO NOT sell this). Hemp is also a sub-species of cannabis which still contains very low legal levels of THC, but CBD is more predominant.
What is CBD?
We don't sell a lot of CBD products by itself most of the Finished Products we sell contains other cannabinoids, but we still wanted to give as much information to our customers as possible.
CBD derives from the Cannabis plant and is more abundant in the Hemp sub-plant. CBD is full of Terpenes (A naturally occurring compound found in plants, responsible for Flavors, Aroma, and even Color) and Flavonoids (Naturally occurring substance found in Fruits and Plants that contains multiple health benefits through cell signaling). CBD is shown to have a profound variety of of health benefits including mental and physical. There are 3 types of CBD each contain unique types of properties. All of the CBD types together in a product is called "Full Spectrum" and just CBD in a product not any of the other varieties is called "Isolate" which wont have any THC or other cannabinoids.
CBD, CBG, CBC, and CBN Benefits - Pain Reliever, Reduces inflammation, Great for those with anxiety, Helps fight Insomnia, has ability to lower blood pressure. Can help fight Nausea, and can help stimulate your appetited. Studies have also shown that CBD can slow cancer cells. What is Delta 6-8-9-10 THC?
Delta-6 THC is a naturally occurring minor cannabinoid and one of seven THC isomers present in hemp plants. It's also considered semi-synthetic when producers chemically synthesize it from CBD or Delta-9. Chemical synthesis involves altering CBD or
THC's molecular structure using specialized equipment. It's also mildly intoxicating and can induce a euphoric high similar to Delta-8. Some users report Sativa effects
such as energy, mood enhancement, and mental stimulation after consumption.
Delta-8 THC, short for delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol, is a cannabinoid found in trace amounts in the cannabis plant. It is similar to the THC and causes a high, called delta-9 THC, but has much less potency. It can be produced from hemp, which is legal to grow in the US since the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill. D8 can offer a smoother, milder high than delta-9. The 2018 Farm Bill defines hemp as “All derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent. This language makes delta-8 legal, because it does not contain any THC. However, some states have chosen not to adopt this specific language of the Farm Bill in their own state laws.
Delta-9 THC is probably the most
popular cannabinoid, as it is the one most closely associated with traditional cannabis. However, the Delta-9 THC we use comes from the Hemp plant, and not from cannabis and is legal under 0.3% dry weight. THC is the most prevalent psychoactive compound in cannabis, but less prevalent in Hemp. The Delta-9 variety is the one most responsible for the recreational 'high' associated with cannabis.
Delta-10 THC is a cannabinoid found in trace amounts in the cannabis plant. Like regular THC, it can get you high, but it is less potent than delta-9. This makes it similar to delta-8, another cannabinoid that's less potent.
Delta 11 THC is a naturally occurring cannabinoid that can be found in both cannabis flower and hemp flower, albeit in very small amounts. Its chemical structure is similar to Delta-9 THC, but there is a double bond found between the 11th and 12th carbon chain as opposed to the 9th and 1Oth found in Delta-9. Some of the benefits of Delta 11 THC includes a faster delivery system. Normally, when you ingest an edible you'll have to wait up to an hour to an hour and a half in order to feel the onset effect; but when you vape D11 the onset effects should hit you a lot faster. This typically happens between 15 - 30
minutes.
What Is THC-o.p,h,b,v,x
THC-O's appeal lies in its potency and its legal status. Research has found that it’s roughly three times stronger than conventional THC. It has been called “the psychedelic cannabinoid” for its borderline hallucinogenic effects. Because it’s derived from federally legal hemp, THC-O products are becoming increasingly popular in the states where consumers don’t have access to legal, state-licensed. Click Here To Learn more
THC-P Along with the other
common cannabinoids
you've probably heard of,
THCp is part of a more
specific branch of the family. THCp is a phytocan-nabinoid, which basically means that it is a naturally occurring compound. It is one of the components that the cannabis plant produces naturally without the need for additional processes like drying and curing.
THC-H has the second longest chemical chain
after THCp, therefore making it the second
strongest cannabinoid after THCp. While THCp
is said to be 33x stronger than Delta-9 THC,
THCh is around 10-15x stronger than regular
THC. Because it's a natural cannabinoid, it
behaves like all cannabinoids do, working with
the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in the body
to bind to individual cannabinoid receptors,
thus yielding a unique array of effects.
THC-B also known as Tetrahydrocannabutol is a
homolog (gene related to a second gene by descent from a common ancestral DNA) compound to Delta-9 THC and one of the active ingredients in hemp. This means this cannabi-
noid is found naturally in hemp closely relates to
delta-9 in the cannabis family. THCb is a phytocanna-binoid and psychoactive. While not as strong as Delta-9, this cannabinoid has been described as similar in how it interacts with our system. Specifically, it acts on the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the brain. This compound binds to them and has a stronger binding affinity than other homologs and isomers of THC, like Delta-8 THC or HHC.
THC-V One of the biggest differences
between THC and THCV is the
fact that it tends not to produce
a "high" when taken in low
dosages. However, once you
start to use higher amounts of
THCV it tends to become
psychoactive. Another notable
difference with THCV is that it
tends to suppress the munchies
rather than increase them. What
this means is that you shouldn't
expect to get weird cravings like
you would with regular THC! While all these cannabinoids are
derived from the Hemp plant,
THCV is derived from a type of
CG cannabinoid. Moreover,
Hemp strains that originated in
Africa tend to have more THCV.
but other strains can also have
high amounts of THCV in them.
THC-X is a blend of cannabinoids that goes into this product in addition to the cannabinoids listed. It's not a new cannabinoid; instead, it's a blend of well-known cannabinoids that we've mixed and labeled THCx.
What Is HHC?
Hexahydro-cannabinol or HHC is a cannabinoid derived from the cannabis plant, but in very small amounts. Most of HHC is created from Hemp Derived CBD and is processed in a very lengthy process. Now it's not a THC compound, but it can have similar noticeable effects as THC would if you consume enough of it. Some of the effects includerelaxation, euphoria, and increased appetite very similar effects as THC.The highs with HHC should kick in immediately, but full effect can be delayed up-to 30 minutes. HHC can last anywhere from 2 - 3 hoursdepending on dosage. If you want to find out more about HHC you we've provided a link to an article we highly recommend Click Here.
