Hemp Flower Shipping Requirements for Businesses
Air Trapper Control reviews domestic hemp shipment requests from businesses. Each request depends on the specific product, lot, shipper, route, and carrier. Use this checklist before asking for a quote.
Documents to prepare
- Business name and shipper contact
- Applicable licenses, registrations, and other authority for the activity
- Current certificate of analysis tied to the exact lot and product
- Product label and description, including package weight and count
- Origin and destination addresses and the recipient's business details
- Proposed service speed and expected shipment frequency
How eligibility works
Carrier acceptance is separate from a product's general legal classification. UPS says raw hemp requires a pre-approved shipper and a dedicated agreement. Raw hemp packages must include a COA showing less than 0.3% delta-9 THC on a dry-weight basis, and UPS requires Adult Signature Required service for U.S. hemp shipments. UPS also prohibits marijuana, synthetic or lab-made cannabinoids, hemp derivatives intended for aerosolized consumption, and all vaping products in its U.S. network. USPS permits certain legal hemp products domestically when mailers comply with the applicable laws and retain supporting records; international hemp mailings are prohibited. USPS electronic smoking devices have separate restrictions. A request for flower, extracts, edibles, or devices is assessed by category and carrier, not treated as automatically approved. Can I ship THCa flower?
We review the exact batch COA, product and destination before discussing service. A COA alone does not guarantee acceptance by a carrier or a destination state.
Can you ship hemp disposables or vape pens?
Not through UPS. Its U.S. policy prohibits vaping products and hemp derivatives intended for aerosolized consumption. We do not advertise a vape route without confirmed carrier authorization for the exact product and transaction.
Do you ship marijuana?
No. This service does not arrange marijuana shipments.
Can you ship internationally?
Our intake is for domestic shipments only. Availability still depends on the destination and carrier.
Is adult signature included?
For UPS hemp shipments, Adult Signature Required is part of the carrier's policy. We confirm the applicable service before quoting.
Do you sell labels right away?
No. We review the product, documentation, shipper, and route before a quote or label.
